    Need to replace my tach

The case around my tach has cracked over the years and now the lip around the front edge of the tach has totally separated from the rest of the case so the tach falls though the dash. Obviously I need a new tach but I don't know which one to buy to replace it. My tach is a VDO that tops out at 6000 rpm while all the ones I see on Overtons, go up to 7000 rpm. Is that going to make a difference? My Tige is a 1998 21i that has a MarinePower USA engine in it that Tige was actually testing for future use. I bought my boat straight from Tige in Abilene and it had been one their team boats so it has a couple of funny things about it.

That's a cool story/history about your boat. We have the same hull. I am surprised ONLY your tach bezel has failed. Most Everyone else has lost all the other gauges. You might want to look a little closer at the others? There are a few threads showing new gauge replacements. I'lll se what I can dig up.

Here is a picture, of a boat, that replaced the gauges with Auto meter.

I'll see if I can find a picture of my completed gauge swap. I think it's on my phone?

I have, since this picture, replaced the Faria Speedo back to the original Airguide with a GPS upgrade. And the new tach has a digital hour meter built into it so I replaced the hour meter gauge with a water pressure gauge.
