Switches not working, first trip out for season

Thx chp! Batteries! How about 2 cables just not even connected and tucked way up where u couldn't even see em! Hard to get ur money's worth these days it seems! I'm not sure what I paid em for dewinterizing, but sure it was too much lol!! Then after gassing up, my 12 yr old didn't tighten down the gas cap and we lost it! It broke and fell n lake. Then we lost a bumper and went back to get it and ran over the rope and it wrapped around the prop !! I also knocked my sister n laws sunglasses off into the water w the surf rope. And my mother n law lost her car keys so we rode 20 miles with 7 people n an impala! Hmmmm. Better luck next weekend! But my 1300 pound sac brought my rubrail to the water! We had a great wave and fun time while surfing. We wakeboarded some too. Windy like crazy today. 72 degree water ( I toughed it out n my 3 mil)!

You wouldn't last a day in our neck of the woods. 72 is about as warm as it gets when it's 90 out for weeks.....

I'm prayin for anything above 55 on the May long weekend to try out the new Z3.

Not the first time I've been teased about being wimpy! I would totally freeze in your neck of the woods. Yesterday water was 78 and I toughed it out without the suit lol. But my teeth were chattering while waiting on the boat to pick me up after falling! Water will be around 90 in a few more weeks. You would boil in my neck of the woods.

Haha you're probably right about me boiling. Is 90 even refreshing when you get in?

When I lived in Denton, TX that was my least favorite part about wakeboarding. It'd be 110 out and the water 90. It felt like falling in a Luke warm bath

Our lake is over 1000ft deep so it just stays cold under the top 50 feet year round. You can see down at least 100ft with good light though...

I store everything, turn the main battery switch to off and see that my running light on top of the tower is still on . The switch under the helm was in the on position, flip it and the light goes off. Why would it stay on if I turned that main red switch above the batteries to off?

If you only have a single battery switch, it's connected solely to the engine starting battery. The "house" battery that powers everything else remains connected all the time. I was stunned when I got my boat and discovered this too. I (and others on their boats) have installed a second battery switch so that we can know for certain that everything is disconnected.

In the meantime, you can achieve the same effect by reaching under the driver's console and turning off the two main breakers.
