    Need to replace my starter?

I have a 2005 Tige Ci and the starter has gone south. Can anyone offer a link for the replacement starter or which model is available for this year make?

    TIA<

I got my replacement starter from DB Electrical. Marine starters at a decent price. Mine was model 410-12198. But the site does have a good list to cross reference if you have the old part number.

        Thanks guys!

6793N is my part number. Ordered off of Amazon for $79.00. Will install Saturday when the part arrives.

A word of warning to everyone ordering these cheap starters, both the top mount and block mount starters "work" but have a common problem of the c-clip retaining the nose gear fails. This will leave you stranded so you've got two options: 1) replace the circlip with one from Grainger or 2) buy OEM. When the circlip fails the nose gear will shoot off into the bell housing and thats tons of fun plus you'll be unable to start the engine.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

Go OEM or reputable rebuilder. Too important to cheap out at Amazon. Plus, at Amazon, you never quite know what you are getting.
