    Y Valve for Winterizing

So I was thinking about installing a Y Valve on the water intake line for the purpose of winterizing or running the boat on land. I really hate the fake-a-lakes and how long it takes them to get the boat to start drawing water. Link at the bottom to the valve I was thinking about using. It's rated for 40PSI. From what I could find, it seems the higher end of the scale my boat will be pulling 20-30 PSI at WOT. It's a 2008 RZ2 with a Marine Power 5.7 (HT360). Any thoughts/opinions out there about this?

This is my fake-a-lake. Way easier than crawling under the boat. Just have to remove the raw water intake hose from the side of the vdrive.

I have another piece that's all braded that I stick in to a 5 gallon bucket full of RV Antifreeze when winterizing. Keep topping up the bucket until the antifreeze comes out the exhaust.

Not sure I would want plastic. Go with an 1-1/4" Pro-Pal Full Port Forged Brass Ball Valve w/Hi-Flow Hose Drain & Reversible Handle.
