The fuel tank is located directly behind the rear seat back under the transom locker.
The elbow will be located at the tank. Not the engine.
I can't remember what needs to be removed. I think there is a carpeted cover where the fuel filler hose goes to the tank. Maybe remove a few screws there to remove it. I don't think the whole floor of the transom locker needed to be removed?Mike Allen, Tigé owner since 1997

It will depend on the quality of your gas and the temperature in the engine compartment. If you sit for more than a minute, I'd run the blower for a minute or so. That should cure any vapor lock issues.Originally posted by Thomas Chobot View PostI fired up the boat today, the only thing that I changed was the water/fuel seperator(look alright). The boat ran fine.If it was vapor lock why does it only happen once and awhileCursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Is there a way I could hook up a small hose and blow thur it and maybe heard bubbles or something?Maybe the problem all along was vapor lock I will try and run the blower more.Do you know of a way to quiet that thing down.It works so why buy a new one.Originally posted by dogbert View PostI would think if it didn't work, it wouldn't start at all.
