    Replacing trailer lights

Anyone know how to replace the rear trailer brake lights? I had one go out on me. I have the molded in rectangular type lights. It looks like they just pop out but dont want to start ripping stuff out without knowing how to do it. Has anyone done this?

Yes they do pop out of the molded plastic gasket, when I replaced mine it was not just a replacement bulb it was the whole plastic red case.

sometimes the rectangular lights have two caridge bolts holding them in from the back of the light.

These style lights usually just pop right in and out if you get the old ones out but think the new ones are tight, just add a little dish soap to them and they will pop right in.

that light fust pops right out of the rubber seal. no bolts or nuts. it will be a tight fit so use some soap and water to remove and instal.
