    Dumb question the week.

I replaced my house battery, I thought I did a good job of zip tying the correct terminals together. I have 2 black wires that come from amps ect.
I zip tied them together but now I’m unsure if they are pos. or neg. The black wire suggests negative but the red crimp ends are throwing me off.
There is definitely one similar black wire hooded into the “ground block on the amp. They are negative right?

The red part of the crimped on terminal is more about its gauge (size) then its polarity. This most likely the amp's negative cables.
