    Over voltage on stereo

I have a 2008 22Ve with a wetsounds stereo system. The stereo operates well but cuts out when the engine is turned on and the voltage gage reaches 12.7 volts. This happened to me a couple years ago and I found a loose ground wire on the amp. I’ve clecked all connections to the deep cycle battery and ensured the ground wires for the amp is secured.

When the engine is operating the volt reading is 13.4 to 13.5.... same as it has always been.

Has anyone experienced this? Is it possible the deep cycle battery isn’t filtering power from the alternator?

    Any comments would be appreciated.

    Thanks
