    Battery charger

What do y’all recommend for an onboard charger? I want something easy to plug up so that my battery is always ready to go. I had a long paddle home yesterday. Thanks in advance.

I got a noco. Works great. I put a thru hull plug in a rear locker for easy access for charging.

Get a bank per battery. Isolator switch should be off when charging.

A marine multi-bank, multi-stage smart charger is the way to go. I like to go with one that delivers an amp output of about 10% of the total battery Ah. A conveniently placed charge outlet, like in the rear locker wall, makes it real easy to plug in your extension cable and close up the boat.

I like the Promariner prosport series for a medium duty on-board charger. it offers distribute on demand, meaning it can send its rated output to just one bank if demand warrants it.

I bought a promariner at chp's advice many years ago and it worked great. wired it in above the taps pump and laid the cord in the compartment where the shower was. back into the garage, plug in and voila- charged batteries every outing.

I also have 2 of the NOCOs. I've had the promariner too and prefer the NOCO. Either are great options.
