Buzzer Question

Anyone know what the little round black buzzer - about 1 inch by 1 inch, that is under the dash is connceted to. It continually goes off for a several seconds and then stops. It is not very loud but a high pitched sound. I don't see any thing that is out of the ordinary when it goes off, ie temp, oil pressure,etc.
I don't know if it goes off at higher RPM's or not as it would be hard to hear but I hear it at idling speed all the time.

could be low oil, low trans fluid, low v-drive fluid. I would check all of them. That is a warning buzzer. The only time it's gone off on my boat is when my belt slipped and overheated the engine, and when I was low on oil.
