    Heater Fan Not Blowing

    2017 Tige RZX2

Heater will not blow any air at all.

'Heater' button on TT lights up when touched...nothing happens.

I traced the orange wire from the heater back to the PDM. With the heater button depressed and a test light on the orange wire I do not get a light. Opened the hatch where the heater fan is mounted and tried turning the fan by hand. It would not spin. I checked all the fuses I could find under the passenger side hatch and nothing was blown or at least nothing "appeared" to be blown. From what I can tell, the signal should come directly from the PDM.

What am I missing? Should I cut the two wires going to the heater and try to power it with jumpers to an external battery or would that cause damage? Is there a sensor or something that only allows the heater to turn on under certain circumstances? I have tried the heater button under all conditions with no luck.

Thanks in advance to all the electrical gurus out there.

Following this. I haven’t done the legwork you did but heater worked last week. Not this week
