    battery charging

Hi, I have a 2003 24v Limited. I'm purchasing a trickle charger for the off-season to keep both batteries charged up -The boat has a regular type of battery switch that has "off", "batt 1", "batt 2" or "combined" positions - is it safe to charge the batteries one at a time while the battery isolator switch is set to "off", or is it safer to disconnect all cables from the positive terminal of each battery? Thanks

    Switch OFF

Get a dual bank marine onboard multi-stage smart charger. Charges both banks as needed and sont have to worry about over charging from a trickle charger.

Thanks Mike! I'm in New Zealand and there's a store here selling this: https://www.marine-deals.co.nz/smart...a-2-bank-au-nz.
Would that get connected direct to the battery terminals, or to the battery isolator switch?
