    Electrical system going bonkers

2000 21v Fox edition, 5.7 mag mpi. I’ve gone over all the grounds and cleaned them up and installed them Here’s what it was doing, fuel pink not shutting off, all relays and injectors clicking on and off, distributor coil shocked me. It won’t hardly start and when it did, it sounds like it’s miss timed but it was running flawless two days ago when this started. After messing with it today for a couple of hours, the boat won’t even hint at starting. I’m leaning ecu, anyone else have this issue?

I would check/cleanup the harness plug at the back of the engine. Round connector with a hose clamp on it. Clean all connections and sometimes you have to spread the male pins out a little but with a small flathead.

Check your battery too. Low voltage does crazy things.

I did all of those things suggested and thank you for the info!! It turns out it was the ignition control module in the distributor. Now I’m dealing with a boat that runs but won’t get out of its own way so tomorrow I start from scratch on timing
