What glue did you use to attach the braces? I don't think you would screw into the fiberglass of the outside hull, would/could/did you? What specific glue is the question...assuming a glue was used.Originally posted by da.bell View PostThere should be braces that come off the inner hull about 4-5 inches. There is some plywood that is attached to the braces by "L" brackets and the amps are attached to the plywood.
Be excellent to one another.

Liquid nails, Gorilla Glue (watch out, it expands alot), PL400 (contractor grade stuff). Once you figure out where you need to place the amp racks mounts/pedestals, cut away the carpet, clean the spot as best as you can, then glue down the mounts. You will get a much better hold, if you can wedge something against the mounts to apply pressure while the adhesive sets, like clamping any other wood project.Originally posted by talltigeguy View PostWhat glue did you use to attach the braces? Look at the first two postings on http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...t=6270&page=12. You can see that the pictures have a small "L" bracket located in the bottom left of the amp rack.Originally posted by talltigeguy View PostWhat glue did you use to attach the braces? Yes, that is the outside wall however it is not actually mounted to it but mearly up against it. Like da. said there are 2 hull supports that come out from the hull, one forward that the bow seatback strut is mounted to and one aft that is to the left in the picture. The rack fits in between them snug with the carpet. Then I used "L" brackets to secure the rack to the hull supports.I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....
