As I mentioned earlier the tweeter pods appear to be epoxied to the boat so they don't appear to be coming out. Below are some pics of the LEDs I bought. If you can see in the picture there is a small lip that the LEDs can fit into but I don't think there is much room for good adhesion."a what? i can['t] say/spell/pronounce that word..." - wannabewakeboarder

That's clever, evilone. I hadn't thought to replace the tweeter holes with LED lights.
BTW, you're gonna love the sound of those XS-650s. They are noticeably different from anything else I've heard. They really sound great!Last edited by dogbert; 03-26-2008, 02:30 PM.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

I'm only seeing the housing available in Chrome or Black. Am I missing the white somewhere? What do you plan to use to attach the led? Are you planning on having a switch on the dash for the lights? I was curious if you are tying the led lights into the boat wiring somewhere or are you running new new wire off the battery? Sorry for all the questions, I plan on doing the same thing.

Yeah, my bad, I guess I'm going to stick with the chrome because the black would probably look worse. I'm planning on just tapping into the existing courtesy lights in the boat. I can't think of a time I'd want to just turn those on by themselves and it makes it easier on the install. I do have a few empty switches on the dash I could use if I wanted."a what? i can['t] say/spell/pronounce that word..." - wannabewakeboarder

Just screwed right in, I'll try and get better pics later. The extra knob is the old Sub remote gain, I need to get rid of it still, those pics were taken as soon as it was installed. The gain control knob is ziptied with the stereo remote all the way to the other side so I'm probably going to just snip it in a place that is less noticeable.Originally posted by CP3 View Posttwo questions
