My recommendation is to have Dom in charge if he doesn't bring his boat (although he is a paid employee of NVSOriginally posted by talltigeguy View PostDon't make fun of us. I won some of those women's gloves, and 2 flashlights!
I was considering Wet Sounds for the next boat...but money talks! If I cannot dump my Addictions, then I will put them on the boat when I sell and take the Tyrants to the new boat.
The plan is for the new boat to be ready by mid October for sure.
Who are we going to put in charge of the stereo contest anyway? As I said before, I don't care if we do it by best applause, best song, best fart noise...but I suppose we should put together a game plan for structure. Who cares, even use a DB meter if you want, count it as 1/3 of the score, then have the DB meter measure the audience applause, and then have the rest be according to 3 of the Monster girls, who are required to go home with the winner.
). I didn't mind the format of 3 judges that we had last time, except we need to agree on the judging criteria, is it for clarity, loudness or my suggestion would be the combination of both. If somebody wants to bring a db meter, then we can factor that in as well.

I like loud and clear. I say we have anhaney make his anchors with 100 foot poles. We go out 80 feet and play our music. Then we go out 200 feet and do it again. I am going to enter twice. Once with the Wetsounds and once with the sony's/. They sound great 8 feet back surfingOriginally posted by Moki View PostMy recommendation is to have Dom in charge if he doesn't bring his boat (although he is a paid employee of NVS

I'm working out a deal with Tall, I could use the amp. PM or call me and we can talk. This all as to be on the down low or I'm a dead man.Originally posted by Moki View PostLovin Powell,
If you are in range of this post, I have an amplifier that will drive those speakers for you and I am having a Thanksgiving special going on right now.
Tall, don't cut me off until we can work out some details.

I just got my underwater camera kit today so I can take pictures...Originally posted by Moki View PostI think in honor of Lunchbox that we also have an underwater sound-off.
(Sorry Lunchbox, since it turned out to be a good thing for you I hope you don't mind a little good natured joking)

I don't mind at all... I have a very good sense of humor about this whole ordeal... I'll be there with my boat next year, and I'll be in that competition! Not underwater though...http://www.linkedin.com/in/zachgarcia

300 Watts is perfect for the Addictions. They are 4 Ohms. They are listed at 250 Watts RMS. Duane said that they can handle more, but was a little concerned that my current amp is capable of 500 Watts, and was releived to hear that the gains are turned down some, and I never have turned the HU all the way up. I think the HU goes to 40, and 27 is pretty much screaming.Originally posted by Moki View PostNew Digital Audion DA 3200 made by Audiobahn

That has to be the ugliest amplifier I have ever seen. It looks just like the helm on the USS Enterprise in the old Star Trek series, with all of the multicolored buttons, knobs and switches. So look's like no matter what you are going to be missing a pair..... O well at least you will have some sweet tower speakers.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
