House Guru's ~ Amp wiring question

Ok so i got roped into hooking up an amp w/ tower speakers (he had lying around) in a buddies boat (2005 Sanger V215) for him next weekend. I looked at everything but have one question from the house guru's.
    • The deck is a Sony CDX-F5000
    • The amp is a JBL LC-A502 (2 channel/130watt)
    • The boat has 4 cabin speakers factory installed
    • No existing amp in boat
    • He wants the amp installed to run the tower speakers only

How would you wire the amp with the existing speakers already using the line level outputs and only the one two channel amp? It looks like it has preouts on the back of the HU and i could use the sub/rear channel ouput for the amp but how do i wire the four cabins?

just keep the cabins hooked up to the amplified head unit channels and install the amp with each of the two channels containing two tower speakers in paralllel. The amp should draw its imput from either of the rca outs on back of unit.

      Chill is right.

You should just leave the existing speakers connected to the radio. You can use either front of rear output RCA connections; it will not affect the existing speakers in any way.

Let us know how it works out!
      It's not an optical illusion.
      It just looks like one.....
