haha I am really looking forward to you installing it too! Based on how yours goes I am either gonna do mine or just have my dealer do it! haha but seriously I'm looking forward to your write up for it. (I think you said you were doing one) Which bar did you decide to go with?

I went with the 36" bar. Already got the 2 inch SS washers and the SS nuts. Just need the boat back from the dealer and A LOT of patience.

Ok. Maybe it wasn't a dark scary hole, but I did spend three hours standing on the trailer, hung over the gunnel, with my head in the rear locker adding a isolator, 4 position switch, and a Optima blue top. Today I feel like i got hit with a baseball bat across the ribs.

None of it's any fun when it comes to crawlin' or leanin' in these spaces! Try doing it at 50 when the body doesn't want to bend those ways easily anymore!

Don't know what I am doing with old amp yet.

Wiring - 1/0 AWG from battery to distribution block, 4 AWG from block to amps. 12 AWG to 16 AWG for speakers. All wiring is either Tsunami or Fosgate.

Those amps look terrific all lit up and everything.

I wondered about combining lead acid and Optima type batteries. I guess you had no concern about it? Forgive me if you already said, but how do you have them hooked up - together, or is one isolated, ?Perko?

Is one battery going to be enough? I am running two deep cycles in addition to my starting battery and only have two 800W 4 channel amps.
