    PAC LC-1

I know some of you guys are running the LC-1's as volume controls. I need to add a couple to the system so how are effective are they at volume control? I added the Orion gain knob to the tower amp but didn't realize that it only works on the LPF setting until yesterday! DOH!

You can build your own for much cheaper than buying those. Pick up a couple of wipers and some RCA connectors and arrange them however you want.

SP, what's a wiper? You have a link to show what it is?

They work great. They are a gain control. What you do is turn the knobs all the way up when you set your gain if you have not done so all ready. Then I trun up my stereo to a level so when we are riding guys can hear the music when riding and I make the adjustments from there. I love the full control I have for the tower, cabin, and sub.

The PAC controlers should only be about $14-$15 on ebay

That's the kind of control i'm looking for. I can take the Orion gain control i got and connect it to the 4 channel amp on channels 3&4 where the sub is connected but will still need to do something for the speakers.

One of these with some RCA jack and you can build one.

That's a double so you can use it for left and right channels. This is all that is in the PAC unit as well, just not the fancy housing.
