Battery Chargers

Ok, this isn't directly related to stereo's, but it is.

Does anyone have any exereience or preference or ideas on these two types of chargers?

Dualpro three bank charger

xantrex chargers?

Looking at getting one of them for my 6 batteries for my stereo. Not sure if one is better then the other or what, anyone?????

Have not used that brand as we use Quest chargers.

Dom, I have the Xantrex 20+ charger. Has capacity for 3 banks, battery type, and temp setting. Starts charging at 20 amps and trickles to 2 amps in stages. Works great and will cost around $200 - $250 new.

is that new or used price? that's about the same price as the dual pro one.

Just wondering. I hear great things about both, it looks like the xantrex is a 20amp, where the dualpro is 15. Does the xantrex come with a visual gauge to tell how much juice is left? dualpro charges an extra bill for one.

Dom, you can find them new on ebay from 250 to 350. Visit the Xantrex website to view options. I am happy with mine.

Yeah, Why am I starting to think this Killer system will be nothing but a bunch of D-Cells Duct Taped together, powering a bunch of Spark-o-matic and Kraco stuff, enclosed in those styrofoam coolers they put above the freezer isle at your local supermarket?
