    Alpha Z speaker wiring

Does anybody know how Tige wires the Alpha Z arch for speakers? Are all 4 wire independently or ports and star boards pairs wired in series or parallel etc.

In 2014, I think Tige used a pair of 16ga 2-conductors, one for each side. These are split in parallel for the 2nd pair. IIRC, this parallel split was close to the tower fold, port side.

IMO, minimum for stock amp, but undersized for any upgrade in power.

What gauge wire do recommend for a Syn4 powering a pair of Rev 8’s?

My thoughts on running new wire on the Alpha Z, is to butt connect the new wire the speaker end of the old, and pull back through. Does that sound reasonable or any other suggestions?

As long as the old wire is not taped or zip tied to other wires or something. However, a butt connector can create a lip that can catch somewhere. id overlap the wires about 6" and tape them together. Will be a smoother pull IMO.
