    2016 R20 Icon 8s and SYN-DX 4

I'm installing two Icon 8s on my tower, and I'm trying to decide where to put the Syn-DX4. Options are the port-side near the MA300 head unit, or starboard-side under the cockpit near the power. I'd like to avoid running power up through the bow from one side to the other, to avoid introducing signal distortion, or cross-talk with the existing 6" speakers. Also, the power wire is heavier and more expensive. Conversely, going the other way, I would need to run the speaker wires, and the remote power switch wire, and the actual inputs from the head unit to the amp on the other side.

Any suggestions and what a standard install would be?

Port side all the way, thats where its designed to be and the most ideal.

Can i make a suggestion? any way you can trade that Syn-DX4 back to your Wet Sounds dealer for a Syn-DX2? It will be about a 50% increase in watts RMS for less of an investment.
