    Wetsounds Setup

    Hey everyone!

looking to add some sound to the boat for next summer. Currently have the stock setup with only 2 Rev10. Looking to add 2 more Rev10 and one more Wetsound subwoofer. Do you guys think 2 Syn6 amps will be enought to run everything?

the Syn 6 doesn't really add very much power to the system per channel.

IMO you would be better off properly powering your tower speakers, sub and speakers.

    Rev 10 - 300-400 watts
    XS 650 - 150 Watts
    XS 808 - 200 Watts
WS Sub - 500 Watts minimum

The syn 6 is nice..but won't push that much power..

The Syn-6 will deliver 200W rms to a pair of tower pods bridged on chnls 1/2 and 3/4. Thats nearly identical to what the current tower pods are receiving from the OEM installed Syn-2. The existing amp will drive a 2nd pair, so the 2nd Syn-6 would not be needed for that.

A syn-6 to drive a 2nd woofer could work. What woofer? If it was me, Id pick up this Syn-2 instead and go with something like the XS-12. Ported enclosure in the port side midship locker and vent the locker. http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...FA-S4-FOR-SALE

The OEM spot for the existing XS-10fa could use some work as well. its too closed off from the gunwale cavity to optimize the 10fa. In the pic below, we sealed the cavity to best suite a different woofer, but to retain the 10fa, id open up that back wall. the 10fa needs more volume.

I was looking for a second XS-10fa. So you would put the second one INSIDE the locker and only vent it with some traps? im not sure to understand well

Due to the placement of the OEM installed woofer, there is NO good place for a 2nd woofer in an ASR. Yes, in the port mid-ship locker. Not sure what traps are, but the woofer is throttled if not allowed to vent. The 10fa would not be my first choice, but it will work.
