judging by the lasts posts i see that wetsounds must definitely be the highest quality for marine sound. by all means im not going to pull the system out that is in there just to replace it with something better if i already have decent equipment in the boat, especially living where i do where at most i get 5-5 1/2 months out of the year of actual use out of the boat. if my rockford system starts failing me ill definitely look into upgrading but systems definitely get expensive in a hurry. I appreciate the feedback

I wouldnt pull a thing a out! My original comment, in the other thread i believe, was to reconfigure the sub setup in order to reclaim ballast space. Im happy to help with that, without it being a detriment to the system i hope, either through PM or start a thread with pics and details. Im more OK with a woofer being in a closed locker, when its a 2nd woofer. If you want to sac out and surf that side, you are going to want that space for ballast.Originally posted by jrdriller View Postjudging by the lasts posts i see that wetsounds must definitely be the highest quality for marine sound. by all means im not going to pull the system out that is in there just to replace it with something better if i already have decent equipment in the boat, especially living where i do where at most i get 5-5 1/2 months out of the year of actual use out of the boat. if my rockford system starts failing me ill definitely look into upgrading but systems definitely get expensive in a hurry. i totally understand both sides. i do what i can to avoid placing small singular orders, but it happens. When I add the freight to my wholesale cost of a small/inexpensive component, it now costs more then I sold if for. On wholesale level for a distributor, for them to order an amp and pair of speakers, the freight alone would put those items in the red.Originally posted by Z1Fan View PostYou see chp what we have to deal with up here now?? Man i sure would love to get you some pictures of my setup through PM or email or new thread. I'm all about learning and i love learning from people that know what they are doing instead of trial and error. Makes things a whole lot less expensive. Yes i had no intentions on pulling anything out except for maybe that second sub just to regain my locker space just because surfing is going take a good portion of my lake time.Originally posted by chpthril View PostI wouldnt pull a thing a out! Like i said down the road if my system ever starts failing it wouldnt hurt me much to invest into a newer updated system since i have intentions on making this boat last me for quite a few years.2009 Tige Z1 Black on Yellow - Getting tugged by a 2015 Ram 2500
