I like the idea of bridging channel 1-4 and powering the Pro80s with that 200x2 and powering a single sub with channel 5-6 with 600x1

Okay, i ended up buying one Syn4, and this is how its all powered.
The new Syn4= channel 1-2 & 3-4 bridged to power the Pro80's at 400rms ea
Syn6= 1-2 & 3-4 bridged to power bow speakers at 200rms ea.
5-6 bridged for sub at 600rms
Syn2 is powering 4 cabin speakers at 175rms ea (i think)
That is a total of 2500 watts.
Now i need to install a WS420, and maybe a 3rd battery.

I don't know what your current alt output is. My old '99 had a 65amp alternator. While my batteries never got a "low voltage" warning either, the leads on the alternator got pretty warm. So I assumed it was quite a load on it.
edit: I see chpthrl posted 95A. Good to know!Waiting for another good one!

I feel the 95A will do fine to keep pace with the system while the engine running, but you may find that it will not replenish the house battery after a long day in the party cove. This will depend on how much engine run time there is compared to anchor play time. You may want to supplement the charging with a shore charger and especially if you add a 2nd house battery as this will basically double the battery Ah on the house bank that the alt will be responsible for.Originally posted by What she said View PostChpthrl is like an encyclopedia, and i mean that with the utmost respect!

So i got my WS-420, and ran my RCA's thru the bilge. Not an easy task! I took the back seat out so i could lift up the floor to see what i was doing. Oh and i had to get my fiance to get in the v-drive side compartments to losen the nuts for the rear seat, cause im to big. I sure hope the rest of this is easier.Attached Files
