Yeah timmy you will. You will also be able to hear me. I would say this boat is almost twice as loud as my old boat.

I do not want to answer for this OP, but in the LED lighting I do, no. I give the LED's thier own 12V switched source.

Yes you have to run your own power. I ran power and ground wires but I think you could ground it inside the speaker

Probably not the best. The ground side of the speaker is not the same ground plane as the battery and electrical system.

Fiberglass boats do not have a ground plane (chassis) like a car. so the mounting bolt/screw is nto not a ground. The only grounding point is to the battery negative.
