Am I assuming that you cut the carpet beneath the pedestals to apply the epoxy. Will that not allow moisture beneath the carpet?Originally posted by chpthril View PostAmps are on the outside wall of the port storage and distro-blocks are on the back side of the access door wall, just to the left of the door opening. The amps are mounted to pedestals that are epoxy-coated carpet covered and bonded to the the bare fiberglass.
Great looking install!!!

If water is up that high, it's time to abandon shipOriginally posted by Lightning Rod View PostAm I assuming that you cut the carpet beneath the pedestals to apply the epoxy. Will that not allow moisture beneath the carpet?

J/K, not but a few inches above the amps is the top of the carpet anyway. If they is streaming water spraying/splashing on that area, the carpet will be the least of the worries. Even so, the carpet doesn't actually "seal" floor and walls from water.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
