I got a 2004 22V last year and the stock stereo (Clarion head unit and amp & 6 in-boards) were all working decently. At the end of last summer the 4 in-board speakers in the rear of the boat just stopped working, so I assumed it was the amp (since the front two were powered by the head unit and they kept playing). I swapped out the amp (thanks to ChpThril) and it didn't fix the issue. I've got power to the amp but I'm getting no sound out of the speakers. I noticed (not sure how I over looked this) that for the 4 rear speakers there were only two channels being used. When I removed the 4 rear in-boards I realized three of the four were run in a series off of one channel. So I tested one of the in-boards with a separate direct line from the amp into the speaker and it worked. Any ideas on why I wouldn't be getting any sound from the series wired speakers? Could one go out somehow and kill the entire chain? Or could it be another issue?
Thanks for any help. I can upload diagrams if that would help.

here is what I would do once you find the root problem. I would move all the in-boats to the amp. The pair in the bow will go on chnl 1 and 2. One pair in the main cabin wired parallel on chnl 3, and the 3rd pair wired parallel on chnl 4.
especially to maximize those new wetsounds coming out soon
