    Wet sounds 60's vs 80's

I came across a fairly good deal on a set of Pro60's at a shop here. I can't really afford to go to the 80's,....but

I was wondering how people like the 60's. Is there a huge difference?

You will not be disappointed with Pro 60s. They are very loud and sound great.

I have the 60s as well and they do sound great. Unless you have money to burn, there is very little difference.

Momma said "if ya cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all, that's why I didnt say anything about the MTX's earlier. With out bashing the MTX's, I would just replace the speakers in you current cans, before spending the money on the MTX. You would spend less and be happier with a better speaker and a better enclosure.

Just dropped off the boat today at the local audio shop. Bit the bullet and stepped up. They are installing a new 150x2RMS amp and a couple of Pro 60's.

Thanks for all the info from everyone

What amp did you go with?

The Amp is a Kenwood. I suppose if I do get a second pair down the road the amp is there for 4 speakers.

I tentively made the deal for a set of pro60's. Some guys say that you lose alot of bass with these??

It will be another $220 but it seem that maybe I should be getting a set of 80's?

I'm over budget now so I am really on the fence about spending the extra for the 80's.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
