You guys both have valid points, but I have them protected, have the highest gun, armor, and cars you can buy and I still get smoked. I don't know what else to do really. I guess I may just get rid of the high priced properties and then build the cheaper one's?????

i hate the facebook version with the robbing. I fix the properties and protect them and it doesn't matter one bit. Freaking stupid!!!

I had that problem and then I backed off on the expensive hotels and downtown office buildings. I also made a point of taking out hits on anyone that robbed me. After a while the stop coming around.

I enjoy characters like yours, especially at the higher levels when the pour millions into the casinos.

Here is the cycle:
- They buy up a bunch of property that they can't defend.
- I rob them for millions and 10+ experience points.
- They spend $10k to put a hit on me.
- I get snuffed by some higher level players and lose 6 experience points - I successfully recruit those who snuffed me to join my mafia
- They rebuild their properties
- I have their name on the home page to go and rob them again
...lather, rinse and repeat

You can't just jump into buying properties you can't defend. Paying for the defense is a farce as it doesn't really help you. Just stick to buying the land in the early going and wait to buy property larger than "Mafia Mike's" until you have a mafia size and/or level = 50+.

Yeah, I was losing 1500 bucks an hour until I bought enough properties. But I always had enough cash to cover it. So I never went in the hole.

The federal reserve job is the best bang for the buck, 25 energy with 75k return.

Until you get the level 20 the best job is the one that takes 18 energy with 30k return.
