i thought that was high too for a a4, he said it was msrp at like 38, and he got it foro 36. I don't think he is quite the negoiater though. 50 I could afford for the A5. Ill have to look into it later this year. Or hell, just go look now for the fun of it

40k seems high for an A4

Everything I have seen on the web says 29k-60k, but I did find the german price book.
    Assuming you get a mid-range A-5 for 40,000 EUR

    40,000.00 EUR = 54,521.55 USD

    1 EUR = 1.36304 USD 1 USD = 0.733655 EUR

So I'd say anywhere between 50-60k

yeah I noticed the high price. My friend has an a4 that he paid almost 40 for. Not sure I want another car that high, esp after I finish up with the z payments at the end of this year. I hope my daily will survive a bit longer and I can just save up and pay cash for a car, who knows what I may track down, is the A5 like 60?

nice eh? I just don't think my bank account will like the price tag, otherwise I'd probably be owning one soon.

Yes and no. VW owns Audi, Lamborghini and Bugatti. Porsche has a stake in VW. That is why the Q7, Cayenne and Touareg are essentially the same vehicle. The R8 is a baby Gallardo. The Audi S6 uses the V10 from the Gallardo.

Even more interesting is this article from last Thursday that looks like things are about to get a lot muddier then clear .

positive it was a bmer. Can't miss the badge on the trunk. It was a really big car, I know that. It's not a big deal. I really doubt I buy a bmw. Too many around. audi's are rarer, and I like to be a bit different ya know? Don't want the same car as everyone.

I was looking at the Enzo
Is that a joke? They're going for $1.25M if you can find one for sale.

    How are the audio cars?
If audio cars you mean Audi, they make the nicest interiors in my opinion. My mom had a 2000 A6 2.7T that after 90,000 miles looked just as nice as it did on day one. She had some reliability issues with electrical but she has that with every car she owns. I don't know why they went away from their turbo cars, but I still really like them.

BMW 8 series( well I thought it was the 8 series, but it appears they don't make that, so now I have no idea what series it was. It is a four door sedan, very sporty, and nice lines. any ideas? I swear on the back it said 845)
Are you sure that 4 door was a BMW and not the CLS from Mercedes? The old 8 series is loosely the new 6 series and was never a 4 door but still a good looking car.

    840Ci

    CLS

Well it isn't really mine and it can't tow anything but it has the power and brakes to do it.
