In Oregon you have to buy your liquor in a state liquor store, in Hawaii we used to be able to go to Costco or Safeway and buy anything we wanted....I hate all the damn regulation here in the Peoples Republic of Oregon

think that's bad? You can't buy cold real beer in ok, can't buy anything in the liquor stores that isn't liquor, so you have to go buy booze, ice it, go buy the mixers then have the party. And on sunday, no way, 3.2 beer only certain counties you can't buy booze at all on sunday, not even out eating out. And election day? yup no booze at all!!

Everytime I head up to Bend, it's dinner at the Deschutes Brewery first thing. God their specials are good. The beer is pretty damn good as well. Far superior to the bottled Deschutes we get down here.

I leave for Bend...well Sunriver next week for some mountain time at Bachelor....cannot wait .....I'm sure dinner at Deschutes will be on the agenda

you guys are spoiled, don't ever go to OK, you CAN'T buy beer cold there, not possible.

Yeah i remember that well when i was stationed at Fort Sill. If we wanted good and cold beer we just drank on the base and stayed away from them okie joints!

Nevada is the promised land. You can buy booze anywhere, anytime. There's not one grocery store or mini mart without slot machines and it's only 30 min. to the nearest brothel. Ah yes, the good life.

Same here in NC and SC the city and county we live in are wet, but some smaller towns around us in this county are dry. Some countys are all dry. I have to make sure I have beer on sundays before we cross the state line heading to the lake, the county in SC where we put in is dry, I've forgotten before and it makes for a long day on the water.

When we were in Zion back in Nov, we found out that you can buy beer in the grocery store, but wine you can only get at the Liquor store

He ain't lyin' let me tell ya! I hated OK during my tour there and still hate it today! And that was ... umm ... 22 years ago, had to think about that one. UGLY women, UGLY beer and a UGLY place (no offense to any OKers out there ). Think i hate OK? Oh yeah and i hated uncle sam for putting me there! I got over it as they sent me to Hawaii next for three years! But that's another story ...

Speaking of Tequila, what's your brand(s)? My personal favorite is the Sauza Hornitos. I can do the Cazadores as well. If you stick Quervo, any Quervo, in my face I'll punch you in your's. Or something like that.

Hmm, I don't really have a favorite, but different ones for different occasions. I'd say the one I drink the most of is Tres Generations. As for Quervo, you have to get to the premiums for me to touch them. And then, there are better choices for less money.

I am not a Sauza fan though, they do something to their Tequilas that make them taste funny to me.

Now if we are talking for margaritas, then all bets are off, any nice Silver tequila will work for me!

I heard a comedian say one time that OK is so bad that birds just drop out of the sky, cause there are no trees for them to land on...Still one of the funniest things I have heard about OK. I mean for goodness sakes their state moto is "oklahoma is ok" Why the heck would you want to live somewhere that is OK? I went to College in Joplin in the 4 state area, AR, MO, KS, OK, that was interesting to say the least.
