Barn find Jacobs 9’8” and EP Comp1.

Found these two hanging inside a corrugated tin shed yesterday. 9’8” Hap Jacobs and an EP Comp1, the same ski my father, Hap, used to ride in ‘70s. The guy I bought them off said he used to wakesurf the Jacobs in the ‘70s.

Great find. I love to ski on old skis. So much fun. I always remember skiing on someone's wooden Connelly. Would love to try that one again.

^^^ I kinda figured you’d spot the Jacobs, Mike. Considering what Jacobs did for surfing and where it all went down, I figured you’d see these things all the time. Pretty F’n rare in Nevada.

The Comp1 is my second Comp one. I have my dad’s still. I’m now up to 5 EPs!

Like these TeamAllen and Nickypoo. These are mine and I was never even a waterskier. Just love the wood.

Mostly ebay over the years. It seems the prices of them have been climbing in the last while though. I still need a couple more to finish of the wall.
