Root Cause for Thread Hijacking

I've noticed that over the last 6 months more and more threads seem to live forever, primarily because they completely diverge from the original subject. Why is that? Well, let's find out

By the way where do you go fishing in Canada, Buddy and I are thinking of doing a trip next year sometime.

I've been to a few places:

- Thompson's Outpost Camps where we went to Upper Foster Lake and Highrock Lake.
- Oliver Lake Wilderness Lodge
- Beaver Lodge

It depends on what you want to fish for. The pike are biggest at Oliver, the Trout were huge at both High Rock and Upper Foster. Beaver Lodge has by far the best accommodations. I'd recommend going in spring (early to mid June) or September (2nd or 3rd week). The bugs aren't as bad then and you'll catch a lot of fish.

Trout is not really that appealing.

I work within 3 minutes of one of the greatest Trout fisheries in the Country (Lake Taneycomo).

Pike would be cool. What ever I do, I want it to be remote...wilderness type of deal.

My bear hunt fell through again so I'm trying to find a sutible alternative.

I know Oliver Lake does bear and moose hunts.

Lake trout are pretty big...probably not like the trout you're used to.

You are only allowed to hijack a thread once, or follow along with one hijack.

Multiple hijacks will not be tolerated.
