that's some quick thinking phil - glad it all worked out ok.

Only one thing I missed on Saturday eve. Disovered it when I put the boat in the shop Sunday morning and heard a high pitched whining sound. I had thrown the bilge pump to manual when I discovered the water in the floor of the cuddy. It for sure was already running on the auto switch, but the pump ran all night...

Fortunately, the batt was still up enough to start the motor.


I think I might splash her this evening to see if for sure the leakes are all addressed, and whether or not I Can still make ludicrous speed and RPM....

When ours did our servo for the Perfect pass went out and the starter and steering cable.

First thing I checked, right at the ramp. It was a real possibility that I would have to do an emergency drain, re-fill, run, flush, drain, and refill to drive the water out of the crankcase.

It never got high enough; thank goodness. It was damned close!

The steering cable was partly submerged; I will have to watch that one.

You are right about that for sure! I may want to swap my fuel filter cartridge/water separator too...
