Really wanted to use your router idea for my sub install. Found an old router of my dads, but the only circle cutter tool I could find was at sears and was like $35 and it was 17 inches long. I could only do a 1/4 circle without hitting the side wall or the floor.

I make mine most of the time. This started as a tired rusty old Craftsman contractor's saw. It now has a 53" Biesmyer fence and a 10 horsepower drive motor...Attached FilesIt's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
