I read. I was able to pop in here briefly yesterday. That just made me sick.

Still, I agree, there is a whole lot of this body I could do without, and as one who already has prosthetic parts, I can really appreciate what medical science can do today.

I have an amputee buddy who is a bad-a$$ golfer. In long pants you would never know his nickname was "stubby" or why...

you know I have metal hips, right?

I forget most of the time. It bugs me a little when the weather is changing, (so like all of spring) and when I go through security at the airport, but since I have been going to the gym, they actually bug me less than they used to.

Funny how that works. I didn't know you had a metal hip. I have the same feeling in my wrist since I broke it 10+ years ago and the Navy decided it was best to remove three sets of bones. The more I exercise it, it doesn't hurt but god forbide I over exercise it...

How was your weekend sailing trip?

Mine turned out fun but still was thinking about going boating all the time. Couldn't stop thinking about it because of the marina that is located at Monterey.... Just too many boats that caused me to think about it.

The sailboat is still in the shop. I am busting my butt to hopefully launch it this coming weekend. I got setback last night though; my orbital polisher finally gave up the ghost. I get to buy a new one...


Still, I got the Stingray out and ran a little Saturday afternoon. It was pleasant out. A storm blew in overnight with rain and cold wind, so putting the boat on in the low 40's, in rain Sunday morning was fun. Oh, it was windy too. The wind was blowing from port across the boat, so I had to crab on, and then straighten out...

Still, I got to drve the boat, and my girlfriend did EXCELLENT in the trailer department, again. I so scored....

It is funny how things go. I am almost done with shining up the gel on the boat, (neglected for a LONG time) and am just now geting where I know what I am doing with the buffer and the compound...

Yup, wind sucks when it comes to boating. It's like we have one huge sail that the wind grabs to take us places we don't want to be.

And now you have to learn on the new orbiter... That would suck since each orbital has it's own little quirks.

A sail you can't trim, with no center board or rudder...

I think I am using the wrong phrase as I think about it. I have been using one of those right angle variable speed devices that looks like a grinder, but is not. Not a random orbit device; I have about 7 of those, so no shortage there.

Maybe a rotary polisher/sander?

yup, put again, we boat now and we all know that the wind is worse now than it will be during the summer.
