We couldn't think of a name for ours until Tige (Lanny), Capital Water Sports, and Lightning Accessories made me promise them that I would never tell a sole how much I purchased the stereo and boat for.

Here's my take on Wetsounds. Yeah they are real nice and real loud but as you stated I think they are overpriced as are the NVS and HSE's as well. Imo they are for the younger set or those that want to impress. I don't mean to offend anyone but do you really need speakers that will blast the whole lake? Not everyone wants to hear music at that level. Besides with the way things are going we'll see more and more sound sanctions i think. I listened to the Memphis setup and the rider will be able to hear loud and clear no problem.

They might be overpriced for some, but mine were for free. Find a better deal than that . The amps were great deals and the finish install was reasonable because a 270 pound man does not fit in the storage below the glove box I actually one pair of pro 60's for the MB-8's as I do not need to be the loudest. The best deals on wetsounds are there b stock stuff. It brings the prices in line of affordable, great sounding. I agree msrp is way too high on this stuff

Well i probably shouldn't say this but he gave me all of that installed for a little more than what i could have bought it for discount over the web! I couldn't believe the deal.

The unofficial name of the new boat is either Orca or Shamu according to my wife (she hasn't made up her mind), she says it looks like a killer whale!

I totally agree with you Jim on this. From the cost of the B stock, brings a lot of this equipment to the cost of what I can get around my local stereo installation place.

But, I chose to do local and the warranty and customer service that I have right now is priceless.

I installed the speakers and I am not worried about the wetsounds warranty. I bought the amps from cadence and a cedence dealer. The install of the amps was done by a cadence dealer which doubled the amp warranty to 2 years so I am pretty much set. If I did not win the pimp my TIGE the metcraft sony's would still be on the boat. I am in for just under $900 bucks for the amps, amp install, cable, distribution blocks and speaker wire.

My old 20V was Black and the bimini was Black with a red stripe. When inside the boat looking up the board racks looked like legs and my kids named the boat the Black Widow. I was kind of worried as black widows kill thier mates but I survived. This time bimini is all black
