So Phil, if you weren't at CES long does that mean you were at the adult expo???

nope. On the phone with customers for most of the adternoon Tuesday, after I left the show floor. Then I went to Big Al's inside the Orleans for some oysters and chowder, then off to the Hard ROck that evening to catch Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

Then I got up at 7:00 LV time Wednesday, (LV time) got around and went to the airport.

No adult show for me, I am way past that nonsense...

Yeah, CES was Monday thru Thursday this year. It normally is on the end of the week, but they change it up every once in a while.

Okay, boating question for you guys out west.

You can use a power boat on the Colorado River, right?

I was visiting with friends the other night, and am on Google Earth right now. It appears that one can boat north out of Bullhead CiIty, on Lake Mohave all the way to the Hoover Dam. Am I correct?

Anyone ever use the Willow Beach Marina?

That just looks like a way more cool place from a boating standpoint than anything we have around here.

Also, south of Bullhead appears navigable all the way to Havasu. Is that correct as well?

I haven't hit up lake Mohave but I know several folks that have. You can go from north of the dam in Laughlin/Bullhead City to the base of Hoover dam. All the folks I know who go there use Cottonwood cove. There are regulations as to how far north you can go depending on the time of year too.

Not sure about heading south from Davis dam to Havasu, but I'm guessing yes.

Yes you can go almost all the way up th the dam but only on a few days a week. The other days the have a no powerboat rule (we found out the hard way ) for people who want to kayak and stuff and it an amazing ride through the canyon to willow beach and up to the dam tho. The water temp is freaking cold out of willow beach so if it 105° out side it hurts to jump in the 50° water (did it once).
