yeah I hear you there. the thing with me is Mine is getting ready too. I need to lose a little from my ballast system...
Our local "loser" group weighed in last night, and decided on a deadline of June 4; the final Wednesday weigh in.
Based on some research yesterday, I tihnk I might be trying to lose as much as 40 lbs...It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

I'm trying to get back into my work out routine, started small and going to keep getting bigger. so far, so good.

I am having ad problems lately because my lower spine can not carry the load. Being 5'8" and 197 lbs doesn't help. My ideal weight is 160-170 lbs. So, I guess there is no better time to start than today. It's either the Tei-Bo (sp?) workout or the stationary bike for now. Running will probably be better once I get below 180 lbs since my back can not handle a lot of pounding at this time.

I have started crunches and "sort of push ups" every other night.
No running with the prosthetic hips, but I will see about elliptical...
'Need to call the gym for an eval appointment. I have all the paperwork in place from work; we hae a health incentive program that pays for gym membership...It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
