Learning curve is not too bad... I have done a box with some irregular shapes, placed a few cabinets, done a couple of renders with different surface textures....
They jsut automate so much for ya in this stuff... The intuition from a CAD engineer is not of much use. I still cannot figure out how to place two walls that are not connected in-line with each other and that bugs me. In Solidworks you just pick the two line entities nd constrian them. This thing will not do such a thing. Not the end of the world, but a pain...It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
