Beautiful day in the Comstock

I took the wife and the kid up the hill to Virginia City a few days ago just to screw around. It couldn't have been a nicer day in the Comstock. I've been up here many times but, this was the first time I had been to the graveyard. It's pretty cool really. I'm quite sure I'll go again. Just thought I'd post a couple pics from the day for those of you who have ever been interested in The Old West. Enjoy.

Oh yeah, the first pic is from the road up to VC, Geiger Grade. It is looking west across the valley at Mt. Rose (to the right of center) and Slide Mountain (center, it's Mt. Rose Ski Resort). Tahoe is just on the other side. Notice the private waterski lake just below Slide.

LOOKS AWESOME. i like the old architecture in the church and those mountains are breath taking.i'd like to learn more about the old west some day.
