Been lookin at doin a stereo overhaul by adding some Exile surf's to my set up cuz I picked up a pair of xm7's for cheap, and they blow right by the surf zone

Drop the 6.5 HLCD and step up to the larger 8" as opposed to adding a single pair of small coax next to a super bright 6.5" HLCD. The 8" will warm up the surf sounf, still give you the wake range and is more efficient to drive.

That's what I don't want. We spend a good part of our day, while the water is blown out, kickin it in the party cove. I'm looking for that crisp warm sound like Chp was talking about.

Chp, do you have the SMD distortion detector and the crossover calibrater with the test tone cd? I'd pay u to rent it for a day to set the amps and Ill ship it right back to you

I have the distortion detector but use a test tone APP on my phone. U pay the shipping and you can barrow the SMD
