Interestingly, I just received an update on my case. They contacted the perp, who of course denied everything. Bottom line is because our local law enforcement and prosecuters are so low on money, they won't prosecute unless the theft is over a certain amount or a gun is involved.

On the bright side, at least I won't have to worry about getting damaged goods back and being on the hook for reinstalls and repairs. Who knows, I might even have a serious audio upgrade in my future.

The owner of my storage facility is going to add more security cameras, concertine wire and he's going to upgrade the roll up doors to my unit so a lock cannot be cut off.
