Is your amp the PDX1.1000? if so, its 2 and 4 ohm output is the same, so no difference with the sub wired at 3 ohm. Im not sure that amp is stable below 2 ohm, so it probably wouldnt like being pushed above 3/4 volume at 1.5. IMO, you are better off @ 3 ohm, then 1.5 ohm, the amp will like you for it.

There will also be a slight increase in output with the 13 over the 12, but that may be negated depending on the difference in box volume. Both should be fine with a tuned freq. of 32Hz, whats the difference in the recommended volume of the 13?

Its right on for their recommended volume. The guy at JL oversized the box that was going to be for the 12 to help a little with the spl but I got it hooked up and it sounds pretty damn good

Here's my first crack at engraving plexiglass with the new electric engraver that I got for Christmas. Sandblasting would probably be better for this sort of thing but I don't have space for a booth to do that and an engraver is like $25.

WWS's Z1 looks pretty bad *** but so is your RZ There will always be something newer in the future, I don't think the Z3 or Z1 is that much better than anything in the older fleet.
