I rarely hit curbs with the trailer but it does happen. I get more worried about friends who back the trailer down for me etc.... Don't even get me started on the wifey wanting to learn to back the trailer.Comment

There is one gas station near me that is pretty much impossible to turn into without taking the trailer over the curb.Comment

Haha. I let my girl try to back the trailer in the pasture and down the drive way. 5 minutes in I new it was a waste of time. I have let my wife do it twice. First time she came half a millimeter from hitting a sign. Second time we were the ONLY boat on the ramp and it took her 10 minutes to get it backed down. She is the classic way over correcter.Comment

She doesn't really know where to look when backing. I was in the truck with her both times. Got real frustrated both times. I need to have a friend help her instead of me. I taught her the trick of putting your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel so the trailer goes whatever way you move the wheel. Well she would start that way, get messed up, move her hand, WAY over correct then wonder why the trailer was going the wrong way.Comment
