I don't see how either candidate can justify a tax cut with $16 trillion of debt. It's just not going to go away on its own. I said it in the other thread, you have to make cuts in current (and future) spending and actually take in more than you spend or it just keeps going up (interest aside).Originally posted by Bruizza View PostRomney's plan doesn't add up either. We don't even know what his plan consists of other than tax cuts.

I could be wrong but I believe that Romney has talked about cuts. Some may not be popular but necessary. i.e. PBS money that they don't need.
No different than when I had a 9% pay cut so they didn't have to do rif's. We didn't eat out, we didn't go on vacation, we didn't buy new things, we didn't get cable, we didn't go to movies, etc...
I find it interesting that some people think that these things as well as others, cell phone and internet included, are a necessity. I disagree. If you can't afford it you live with out. You can easily use the internet at the public library or various other places.
Just because you live in America doesn't mean that you are entitled to everything. Just my two cents.

You are definitely wrong if you are under the impression Romney has told us with details how he will pay for his 20% across the board tax cuts and his 2 trillion increase in defense spending. While we have a 16 trillion dollar debt like Timmy mentioned.
Simply stating you will close loop holes and get rid of PBS doesn't pay for it.
