He is kinda right, all of the operators moved to private and state lands when he shut it down in 09

Layoffs across the nation started last month again though.

If he does not think that drilling and producing more domestic oil will lower gas prices, why did he release 30 million bbls of oil from the strategic petroleum reserve last month?

No president has ever done that unless we were in a global energy crisis.

I am all for alternate energy if it makes sense. It is my understanding that much of the green energy has not turned a profit, or is not self sustaining, rather depends on government money. Seems like that is not the right answer.

Shell, Exxon Mobil and bp are raking in govt money putting in wind farms with govt subsidies, they are getting about 45 cents on the dollar for initial start up and building costs from what these wind farm guys are telling me.

Big oil is in all all energ development, you don't think they would let someone else get that free money from Obamas print shop would you?

They just start up a new company with a green name and stand in line for handouts.
