Although I took out a 12' door with mine. Door came down 6" because the pull string got hooked on the rack somehow and simultaneously pulled it down as I was pulling out and bent the crap out of the door.

yikes, i bet that was tough to explain to the wife. I have been tired and ALMOST backed my boat into the garage with the tower up. Luckily before I back it in I'm watching the tower and the door with my side mirrors and I've caught it twice. I'm pretty paranoid about it now, and I couldn't believe I almost did it twice.

yikes, i bet that was tough to explain to the wife.

No damage to the boat. Only explaining was to the storage lot manager. Since I had been there for ~4 years and I fixed it on my own, he didn't charge me anything extra. Just had a helluva time putting the door back on track and kicking the dent out of it.
