Extreme. I don't know if it is allowed, but I don't power load because I am too worried about getting a little out of alignment and having a trailer vs. propeller fight break out.Originally posted by Ewok View PostWhat brand trailer was that again? And why do you winch it? Is power loading not allowed at mead as well?

That sucks DingOriginally posted by dingleberry View PostDingle not happy today.
Trailering the boat, I guess my wife was backed in a little deeper than normal. I didn't think much about it, other than I found it nice to not have to crank hard on the winch. But...didn't realize that it was over to the starboard side about an inch more than usual. And because of the slightly deeper trailer, that put the edge of the hull on top of the plywood inside edge of the fender. So when we pulled out, it pushed the plywood down, ripping the bolts through it and bending the fender at the bolts. No hull damage, but my trailer looks a little jacked up
. Mine does that quite a lot but I've been lucky to not have any damage yet. Mine is hard to winch because the handle almost hits the trailer (crap design)
I watch in the side mirror real close as I pull forward and sometimes have to try a few times.

Boat looks great EwokOriginally posted by Ewok View PostWhen I pulled out of the lake we sauced the boat as usual, and when I got home we sauced the truck and trailer too!

the Sauce has been great to me this year being on the lift and in full sun. I used the quickie wax every other month and the shine has remained

You should have seen the angle that Ben Pigeon hit the trailer with when he have me a demo of his RZ2, he hit the trailer, and powered it up and left it running at high rpm to hold the trailer against the bow stop while he walked to the front, reached over, hooked the winch strap and gave it a 1/4 turn to tighten it up. I thought the prop was a gonner for sure but he did that demo to show me I had less things to worry about than hitting the prop on the trailer.Originally posted by dingleberry View PostExtreme. It would be evn better if the FAE worked like a Captain's call. Quiet is nice when riding but I sure do like the purrr of my exhaust.Originally posted by bryce2320 View PostI wish my boat had a captains call of some sort where I could hear the exhaust when I wanted too.Wake Up or Stay On Shore!
